I definitely see your point. But what if there isn't a real community there to start with? Since I joined BYC, I have chatted more than ever before in my life. And I do feel happier when I can talk to people, even if it is online, rather than no one. That can get lonely!

Where I live its 50km to the nearest town, and the only locals are city siders who aren't ever here most of the time. So a forum is a lovely way to be able to chat to other people more often than I can in real life.

I personally do not want AI, except as a bit of fun to mess around with. But as long as 'she' stays out of where its not wanted, then I don't have any objections to having AI. One question I have, is if I call out and correct inaccuracies, will 'she' respond better next time that question is asked?
