I had a few of mine hatch. Too cold here to see them out from under their mom's today. They are adorable little bantam chicks. :)

Candled my eggs this morning. Apparently the cold weather did affect them. My first batch only has 1 developing egg, the second batch has 4, and the third batch has 6. At least all moms have something.

So those bantam eggs I set today will count?

I gotta count them tomorrow morning. I believe I have 6 and 8, but need to double check when I shag the hens off the nests. :)

I could have participated, but I set my bantam eggs 2 days early. I set some on the 16th and some on the 17th under 2 broody hens. :th
