Well I’ll give it one more day but I don’t think the eggs I took from the broody will hatch. Which leaves me with 0 surviving chicks from this hatch. I have eggs in the incubator though so hopefully I will have something hatch next week 🤞

Well my broody hatch that was due tomorrow did not go well. I found two dead chicks in the nest so I grabbed the remaining eggs. I candled them and only two looked like they had a possibility of hatching so I threw them in the incubator. I am hoping they will hatch but who knows.

I just found out that we can still join even if our eggs will be hatching a few days after Easter, is that correct? If so I will join up! I have some Swedish Flower eggs under a broody hen that should be hatching on the 14th.
