    Thanks for asking @aart ! Ya, I've had random logoffs too. I think it's something to do with cookies, browsers, interweb connections, etc. It doesn't happen often, but from time to time. (if it happens often, it's usually something with a browser/addon... like an ad-blocker that is impacting...

    Not yet, but just having to login isn't a sign that it might have happened to you. An account on BYC that was compromised would be banned and/or have their passwords reset (depending on the situation).

    If you know your current password, you can change your password without access to your email account. BUT... if you're logged-out of BYC, forget your password, and do NOT have access to the email address associated with your account, then you're unfortunately out of luck since we'd have no way...

    Great point! I have 3 tiers: For sites I don't care about getting "hacked" and do NOT have any sensitive data, I use a simple method, like: 4 same characters and then the first 6 letters of the domain name. For mid-tier websites, I'll use Google Chrome's random password generator. From what...
