10 eggs this morning... no wait looking around about 1400 hrs found two more outside the coop. Guess letting them out at 0700 hrs is too early, I think they are getting ready to lay later as spring rolls in.
Got 30 in one incubator and they all are moving around, 3 days till lock down.
Still waiting on these guinea fowl free loaders to lay something. Been around here since July of last year and still nothing. Come by May and they are going in the freezer, poor birds for eggs or of being use here.
Best reason to get them is to annoy the annoying neighbor legally!
9 plus 1 goose egg, we are going to have so many geese running around after I hatch all these goose eggs it's not going to be funny. Funny part is I will do it again next year when those start dropping eggs too.
9 plus one goose egg, is it crazy I am trying to hatch every single goose egg that comes out? I'm collecting them and after 7 days I put however many I got into the incubator.
I'm thinking, there is a Andrew Jackson saved for each one that hatches as they aren't cheap birds, seriously $20 a bird...
Make that 10 eggs yesterday, someone decided it would be cute to drop it hours later outside the Waddle Wattle Inn. 6 eggs this morning as expected with temperatures down so low.
Got 10 eggs at first and the goose got off her nest, nope no goose egg today, but she was sitting on 2 duck eggs so that's 12. Turned around to walk out the door and on her way out the door she dropped a egg in the door way :lau
Thirty-five days give or take a day or two. That means the goose can stay in there long after the ducks dry out and I get them out before lock down on the goose.
11 eggs
