Yeah I know. If had the money and room, I'd be over my head in engines. I would collect them. Just had someone offer me my all time favorite the other day: the Ford 300.
Wait?! You know what a MEL is? I usually get raised eyebrows from that one. (I also happen to know where a fully machined, ready to go 462 is, and it's less than 15 miles from me.)
Very wow? I'd say very meh. So mainstream. Everything today is being LS-swapped. When someone pulls up at work in a classic car that's been LS-swapped, I just roll my eyes and walk away. It doesn't take ingenuity or creativity to do the same thing as everyone else. Just money. I can appreciate...
Reminds me of the time I bounced the Ranger off of a pine tree and popped the drive shaft out. That's one tough little truck. We've blown up a transmission and rear axle in it, and use it like an F550. Motor never complains. With my mods, it's currently getting 28mpg.
The way I see it, life is linear, not circular. You live and die. You do not live again, at least not here. Humanity is a long trail of dust...a straight line to nowhere...
For some reason... I can't do stuff like that. I always feel out of place at any social gathering, be it wedding or funeral. I'm not sure which I hate more. Funerals are sad, and weddings sadder. I'm always just wondering "how long will this last?".
