I think they usually are. I used to ride a 15.3 appy gelding. I’ve been seeing more and more appy sporthorse crosses though, and they’re usually tall.

Right? Like I’m used to all the 14.3-15 QHs being average, and the I rode a 16.2 hand QH and I was in awe.

Vet visits arent fun for either of us. There was a very loud, scary yard across from the clinic.

So sorry for your loss, and that you had to make that decision. It’s never easy. Those pictures are so beautiful ❤️. I plan on having a session like this with my horse when it comes time, hopefully many more years away. I just love the idea of getting some special pictures to remember forever.
