Today i cracked a long egg open from my chicken. Each time she lays it gets skinnier and longer, soon i think it’s going to be a pillar. It was so long it busted a hole in the egg carton. If a chick hatched from that, i can’t even begin to imagine what it would look like.

Each time it manages to amaze me. I think it’s fascinating to watch how they grow from that to a fuzzy chick.
