Yes the offspring is yours but you can't take all the credit for it. A little respect for people who have done a lot of work over many years is a good thing to have.

I have been following..... So your line was created using stock from someone else's well established line. Don't they deserve some of the credit?

If you have spent 20 years creating your 'line' of chickens and are recognized for it then it is most definitely 'your' line. End of story.
