I agree with you entirely on this. I don't really appreciate when members are discouraging participation if the birds can be entered and is a standard breed. I understand helping people understand that they may want to choose other birds if theirs they entered aren't recognized, but beyond that...

Just wanted to ask to clarify, could I use pictures of chickens who have passed away or owned years ago? :) Right now most of my birds aren't of APA recognized varieties (or are bred to the English rather than American standard) but in the past I have pictures of some who are recognized!
