It will help, but calcium with vitamin D3 and a good uvb bulb will only keep it from getting worse. To my knowledge MBD is not reversible. If he starts to get sores on that leg you may need to rig a splint or pad for him.
Thanks for the offer but I am a solid hour north of you so will have to pass. I've actually driven through Margaretville heading down to Liberty. Had family living down there for a bit.
It looks like they got a vender in who specializes in plants!
Full bioactive set up anyone?
No thats not silly at all. Did you get VIP tickets? If I had someone else willing to drive out with me I probably would still go.
There is just a LOT going on for me this weekend. A barnfest, new ducks coming, family is visiting, coops really, REALLY, need to get cleaned. And Monday is 1st day...
Well I have the day off for the expo, but not going to be able to make it. It is a 160 mile round trip for me, and I need to make the drive the following Mon and Tue as well for work. 😕
Will plan better and make it to the spring one next year.
If anyone is in the Northeast there is an awesome reptile expo happening on the 25th in Albany, Ny. I've been to it more then a few years ago and it has only grown since. Really tempted to go, but restraining myself from comeing home with something is Very Difficult.
It seems I dont have a good picture on this phone. But the rock to the right is the lid of his hide. There were slate "rails" as walls siliconed togethor, so there was no risk of collapse.
I will have to look around for some old photos, but I built my beardie a hide and a pool out of slate found on a hike and a tube of 100% silicone. It lasted him years before he out grew them.
