I'll just say I am somewhere between Lozzy and CCCL. :D
The first computer I got to use was something my dad brought home from work that was MS-DOS based, had a flip down keyboard, and an orange and black screen that was around 4x6 inches. I played Othello on it. LOL. It's funny that I never...
There are hooks in two bedrooms for that hammock too. Great for gross motor movement in the winter but I make the kids pick up all the LEGOs before I'll hang it up.
Pictured is the screened in porch. The mosquitoes here are worth screening against!
I had wanted to post a picture of the two kids reading Harry Potter sized books together, but it's not on my phone any more. This photo of the books they are writing I took yesterday though!
Over Christmas break my 10 year old convinced my 6 year old to read Harry Potter. She got quite a ways before deciding it was too scary! No choice about reading around here. One grandmother was a librarian and the other was a Kindergarten teacher!
She sounds like me, right down to the crackers and cheese. Our local hospital has a poached salmon and rice dish that I pretty much ate every day I was there. I laughed when they sent up food I didn't even order. I think they were trying to tempt me to eat more! I hope the herbs will help!
I am so glad to hear that Sue is improving!
It seems I am going to learn so much here. All my chicks are going to be brown egg layers so I don't expect I'll know who is laying but it sounds like I'll have a little idea of who is laying! After four years of owning guineas, we've only just...
I know my local food shelf takes garden grown vegetable donations so it never occurred to me that there might be an issue with eggs. I will have to look into this too.
I came to visit Ribh's thread for the first time and saw this. I hope Sue recuperates as well as my mom who has been living with a drain to relieve brain pressure for years now.
