I started a new job and haven't been able to post in a long time. We lost one of our eggs. It got cracked in the nest and didn't make it. We did however just hatch our other egg this morning!!!! Super excited. Should I take the shell out of the nest or will mom eat it?

I would guess the egg is about the size of a quail egg. I'm not sure if that's small or not. We'll be sure to candle it (and any others) in about a week.

The new waterer is located under the nesting boxes so no one is ever over it. I'll have to see if they have trouble drinking though. So far they seem ok but what do I know. I'll have to look for bowls as well but they don't seem interested in them at all.

I finally got a video of my pigeons bathing. they are so funny. I put a small square tub in there and they all jumped in together. I sort of figured they would take turns. They don't seem to mind though.
