I’ve taken away their nesting material since I’ve seen them gearing up for another clutch

My pigeons are molting and there are feathers absolutely everywhere!!!

I’m pretty sure they’re all fine just startled. I’m pretty bummed I’ll have to redo all the shelves and things again though.

The winds gotten crazy here and it knocked over the pigeon coop! I grabbed them and put them in a separate cage in the laundry room until the wind calms down. I think my shelf setup got ruined in the process :(

There’s a huge Cooper’s hawk eyeing my birds now. I called in the pigeons but I’m worried about my chickens.

He came back with Kiwi. Once the young ones need mates I think I’ll toss them from town to try to get some ;)

Both Kiwi and Peach flew off and both came back.

I called her and put food in and she came back!

I’ll try throwing some feed in their coop and calling her to see if that works better. I can’t really put out Nugget because it’s really hot abd theres no shade.

Update: both Kiwi and Peach just came back. Kiwi landed in a neighbor’s yard and they have dogs so I’m worried about her. I tried calling her back but she won’t come.

I think the pigeons flew off again :/ Nugget stayed. I let them out early since I’m going to be spending most of my day outside and I went inside for a bit and when I came back they were gone.

It’s not as bad now but his squeaking really bothers Peach for some reason. Whenever he starts squeaking Peach flies up to wherever he is and try’s to get to him.

He only tolerates scritches from me if I’ve been holding him for a bit to get him to calm down. Otherwise he’s squeaking and biting. Nuggets “voice” has started to change and he sounds so funny lol

I have a new shelf setup!for some reason Nugget likes to hang out squished on top of one of the nest boxes. He’s gotten a little aggressive with me, lunging and biting at my fingers if I get too close.Lime

Yesterday Nugget did some laps around the yard. He didn’t go too high or fast but it was still awesome to watch.

The pigeons love for me to “elevator” them where they want to go. I’ll offer them a hand and thet climb on and I take them where they want to go!

What does it mean when I pigeon nibbles on you? Mine do it all the time.

The pigeons are out roaming right now.

Meet Cherry and Lime! Decided to go with the fruit names again since it seems like they will look very similar to their parents lol. They are six days old today!
