I get this on probably 20% of my squabs and I honestly have no idea what it means. It always seems to fade away though.

Last night was -20°F and all my birds pulled through it! 4 babies and 4 incubating eggs all perfectly fine! I just wanted to brag about my birds a little.😂

My pigeons are just for my enjoyment and for their own happiness.😂 They really have no practical use, but I really love them. In the summer I let them out all day and lock up at night. In the winter they stay inside most of the time.

Most of my pigeons are descendants of a local barn pigeon I hatched from an egg, and I actually think it added in a lot of good genetics from years of surviving in good old Minnesota.

The brown hen’s mother had two beautiful different colored eyes.

This is his father(where the bronzing genes came from).

He’s half Modena, a fourth Oriental, and a fourth Kormorner.

I’ve always wondered if she was someone kind of dun, but I wasn’t sure because my other dun birds were always more grey. Here are her parents.

Her mom was black and her dad was yellow.
