I just feed raw. They almost never are dumb enough to break an egg that isn't brittle in the first place on their own. Just make sure they have plenty of calcium

Most of mine go back to the birds. Especially the duck eggs

Nope. Definitely wouldn't be happy. Still working to lower the feed needs though, cause on the low end, it's still about 650 lbs a month

450 lbs is the max my car can haul, and it almost is touching the wheels in the back at that point. Much happier now that it only hauls 300-350

Mine had major FtT too. 2 didn't last 3 days, the 3rd was always way smaller than even the silver leghorn

Tsc is probably close to 20-25 lbs, at least, guestimating the feeling vs a feed bag when I move them. Maybe 30lbs?
