Now that I’m thinking about it, I think I actually gave them decent reviews and just mentioned it in a comment. Hopefully it’s caught eventually. Oops.
Ah okay. I left a handful of bad/skewed reviews early on because of the broken links before I knew to report them. I can’t think of a way to easily find those reviews again.
Good point. Part of my reason for asking is because my current coop build is an old dog run renovation. It’s not exactly something you can buy, but I guess I could lay out how I’m dealing with the rotten boards and poor construction problems.

So in a nutshell, the average rating that is given is 5 stars because good articles get more exposure.
But the average coop article rating is 2.5, yes?
What is the weight calculation based on?

I wonder if that’s because people avoid rating lower quality articles (lots of 5 star ratings on a good featured article), or if raters are too generous.
Maybe most articles are just that good. :p
Personally, I give 1 stars to articles that show 1 or two pictures and a paragraph or less of writing. Those are no help to people even if they’re pretty. Sometimes I make these anonymous if I feel uncomfortable for whatever reason.
Well, some people are looking to build a 2x4 coop. I would say if it’s got tons of tips, plans, materials list, bunch of photos from building and after finishing, and it’s a solid build that is a good example of what is advertising then I would probably give it 5 stars.
