Totally agree. I absolutely hate raw onion & especially can't stand red onion, but nothing like a good caramelized vidalia & crumbled bleu cheese on a steak! :drool

We have a lot of deer and they love to eat the hostas out front. So I ate a lemon cuke! It was good but nothing I would plant in purpose I don't think. I have another one almost ready, the vines are starting to produce I think.

A new pic of my mutant, turns out I have 2 vines. Great. This one looks to be pollinated and is growing. It is much more yellow than the pic looks.

Beautiful, thanks for sharing!! I love pics. & Your dill looks better than mine! I decided a couple years ago that apparently I grow dill for the swallowtails, not me. I have a HUGE pot that I grow it in and they decimate it every year. I have not one tiny sprig of Dill left.

I've definitely gotten the wrong seeds mixed in - last year I had a zucchini mixed in with all my summer squash.

It was just your basic cuke from the garden store. I had started seeds but they didn't do well so I bought a 4 pack, the other 3 are normal cukes. That's why I think mutant. :lau

There are maybe 5 just like that on a vine about 4-5 feet tall. They all look un-polinated to me and for sure they don't look like the cukes I thought I was buying! :lau

Oh my gosh!! I wonder if that's it!! I would love that. They aren't growing yet, I thought they weren't pollinated but once again, I may need more patience. I will definitely get a pic tonight.

I have got to take a pic of this 'cucumber' vine I have & post it here tonight. The fruit are tiny, round & yellowish. Prickly like a cuke, but they don't grow. It was in the pack with my other cukes that are normal, I think it's some sort of mutant. :idunno

Yes, they do seem to be all/mostly males. I guess maybe I'm just too impatient. It feels like I should have cukes by now! My vines are 4/5 feet long & tons of flowers - just no females I guess.

Brandywine are my favorite - I just love their flavor. They are coming in quite nicely this year. No blight yet, they had it bad last year. I also tried some type of canning tomato for the first time, they are growing great. My friend & I split them so I don't have the tag so I don't know...

My tomatoes are looking great this year but my cukes, not so much. They have tons of flowers, just no fruit. :idunno Same with the watermelon. I've never grown watermelon but I would imagine they should have some sign of fruit by this point. I see bees in the garden quite a bit (I won't let...

Very jealous of that! I have forever to wait for a nice, warm, juicy tomato off the vine!
