I have added to t he flock now up to 122 and avg 115-118 eggs a day. 62 of these are from old hens. They are now year old + When do they slow down? I have been looking for them to start the molt. I had one molt and boy was she crazy.

Every one close to me told me their hens stopped laying for some reason or other. Mine just kept plugging along. Daily avg 59 to 62. Seems like mine just like me and keep doing their job. Adding another 90 to the flock just in case the "old ladies" want some time off. They are just about a year...

40/42 Turned off lights in the AM and they stopped laying on a consistent basis. Reset the lights to go on again at 6am off at 8. We will see what happens in the next week. This warm weather is throwing me for a loop. Coop is getting hot.

35/42 I have one hen who is not laying until late in the day. Her nesting is covering a number of eggs. I don't want to disturb her. Could I? What do you think?
