Yeah, with a mix it's hard to know what to expect! Once those combs start to redden it will happen soon after and you'll have more eggs than you'll know what to do with! :love

9 eggs today! I think the whitish egg to the left of the speckled egg was laid by my girl that laid the shell less eggs...best guess, still not exactly sure which one ! :confused:

7 eggs today! No soft shell eggs, I'm hoping that's over! I checked to see where the girls are roosting tonight...so if I get another one I'll have a better idea of who laid it.

Yeah that's hard to keep track with that much ground...we have 5! :)

I'm finally caught up! Here are the eggs I collected from the 5th - to the 10th!

My Banty's had free range of our entire yard...sometimes I would find a nest, sometimes we would be surprised with a new batch of chicks! Now my new flock is contained in a 110'x50' free range pen and I don't get those surprises anymore! Glad you found the nest! :)
