26/35 tied for the most my girls have laid in a single day. I'm proud of that average as some of my 'ol gals aren't spring chicks anymore so they're surely not going to produce 100% everyday so I'll take it for good.

20/35 today and I found another ittsy-bitsy egg out in the run this one is smaller than the one I found two days ago its about the size of a little finch's egg, i just about stepped on it, it was so small, so i guess that means my other Delaware girl is starting up laying now...
29/35 the most in a day so far this year, they're getting closer to the magic number of perfect 35/35 but I think prolly I won't see this as some of my hens are older and don't lay everyday like they used to do and still some are sneeking off and laying elsewhere in the bushes and stuff...
25/35 found one of them out in the run, it is about the size of a robin's egg, so that means one of my youngin's is now starting to lay, I knew it shouldn't be long off as their combs are really starting tyo get big and red.

Havn't posted in a few days still averaging about 22 to 26 a day from 35 layers should have 3 more to start anytime now as they are going to be 5 mo. old here shortly so that should bring my average up some.

23/35today I finally found one of my little escapees nest today I saw her sneaking out of a big 'ol bunch of Pampas grass and sure enough there it was 9 eggs in the clutch and no telling where else there might be more of them hiding, she was sly about it also she waited till she got a good ways...
23/35 bout normal here lately, I know some are out laying in the bushes somewhere cause I got to counting heads at noon today and some were not to be seen so I now know there are some trying to run incognito,

25/35 today, not as good as yesterday but good 'nuff for now as I've got way too many on hand as it is. I'm in the process of setting some for hatching but that's not gonna make much of a dent in around 40 'sumpin doz.. I guess I'd better get on the stick about tyring to market all these eggs...
28/35 now yesterday, that's the most I've had in one day all year and that's just about an egg from every hen that is of laying age on the place as I still have around 5 that are not laying but should be soon.
I'm pretty sure there are a few hiding them out in the boonies also, as I've got...
18/35 today, just as I called it production will dewindle for a few days till the weather gets back in good shape. It just takes so much for the 'ol gals to produce eggs and body heat also and the dull, dark, dreary days also affect their hormones just like humans get stir crazy or cabin fever...
24/35 today, it was a nasty day here in soggy La. I wouldn't be surprised if my production numbers decrease here for a couple of days as the hens have really had to endure some sorry weather the past few days. I willl be so glad for summer to get here and dry out this place.
