I havent yet had a chicken long enough to molt but mine are losing feathers more now ... i guess imma have to wait these 2 months out..

I use artificial light they get prenty of light... a friend said its cause they converter their food to heat not eggs when its cold. You think that is true ??

The black mark around the vent is from other chickens bitting them since they wer "exposed " A friend told me it may be because they went broody and they spend long hours sitting on eggs that cud be why they lost their feathers. Could that be a cause too??

Well my number have been down lately too i have been getting between 175-185 for the past 10 days and i think its cause of the dry fowl pox
