I got 8 eggs today from my 19 layers. Thank goodness I have 8 more that will be laying anytime in the next few weeks or so. Has anyone else been having a decrease in eggs? Maybe its the heat I don't really know. Its been in the low to mid 90s here. But they have plenty of fresh cool water and...

Finally got a 15/15 out of the ones old enough! Yay! And in a few more weeks I'll have another 6 pullets coming into lay!

13/15 But one of these eggs came straight out of my leghorn, Betsy, hit the dirt yolk and white only not a single bit of shell. I have never had one lay a shelllless egg til today. And she just stood their looking at it and was very confused.

What are they eating??? If not eating layer feed, do they have oyster shell available? If you do not know their age, they may be too young, or they may even be older and not really gonna give you many eggs.
