Your adorable gingerbread coop didn't figure in the top 3? Oh that is just not right. That coop was smile making.
I just woke up from falling asleep in front of the TV. DH had the nerve to take a picture of me snoring with my mouth hanging open.....nothing is sacred.:lau
Wax warmers. Are those...
No I didn't see those unless that was the one with the small metal bowl sitting in a frame?
I just went out to dump water bowls for the night and check for eggs before locking up. I had to laugh. I have a little Bantam cross pullet who has been 'thinking' about going broody for the last month...
@CapricornFarm, your hair length is very cute! Your before picture is about the length mine was before I had it hacked off.
Has anybody tried using the 'nightlight' sized lightbulbs mounted in a round cookie tin as a water heater? If so, what were the results?
Good points @Chullicken.
I'd add one thing. Ventilate, Ventilate and then ventilate some more!
Cap that looks good enough to eat....Even without the little gingerbread chicks.
:drool
Gingerbread Good!
I'm trying to OD on Christmas goodies. My New Year's resolution is to ditch refined sugar. That means I have to consume enough sugar before then to last me at least until next Christmas.
I don't see any little ginger chicks? Where are the ginger chicks?
I love gingerbread. Unfortunately DH doesn't so if I make it I get to eat it all. A couple of years ago I made Gingerbread Whoopie Pies from a kit and loved them.
I worry about that happening. It's thankfully not too possible in the large coop as I have a hook with a safety spring on the storm door that takes two hands to operate. If I did get locked in my only way out would be through the pop door.... Which would be worth the price of admission no matter...
