I'm in the Charleston area & have a purebred Buckeye cockerel and an olive egger roo (gorgeous!) who need to be rehomed or end up in the soup pot. I always post here first just in case someone is looking for these breeds. They are both free. The olive egger is from a Welsummer roo over a blue...
Anyone have fertile eggs for RIR? We seem to be overrun with broody orpingtons. Thinking it may be time to let them go and replace with a less broody, higher production breed. Would consider leghorn eggs too. Going to call around the feed stores today to see what they have. Is a production red...
We're in the Charleston area. I'm looking for a few Mille Fleur d'Uccles - chicks or hatching eggs.
We're also looking for Nigerian Dwarf or African Pygmy diary goat does. We'd like to get 2 does.
If you have either of these or have any one you can recommend locally, that would be great!
Thanks!

Our first chickens were RIR/Comets from some friends in Ona. We have only 1 of those left and have primarily Wyandotte & Orpingtons now for standard and a small pen of bantams for fun.

BTW, my roos are free. I just really want to get them new homes by the end of the month.
I have 4 mixed breed roosters that are in need of new homes. They are about 10 wks old., Rhode Island Red/Comet mixes. They were all running around this morning and this is the only one I was able to get a good shot of.
