    In my local Uncle Henry's mag (a local weekly buy and sell publication) hens are selling for $2/ea. Of course, you get what you pay for. They're probably riddled with lice and 3 years old. Not worth selling them if you can't sell for a decent price. I'd rather keep them, and sell the eggs.

    My understanding is that they lay their eggs in composty material, and they cook from the natural heat. You might use the incubator, and put the eggs in a container in some damp peat or leaf litter.
