hi all since i posted last i have 9 new chicks. 2 barred rock, 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 sussex, 1 houdan, 1 araucana, 1 frizzle, 1 buff pekin and 1 blue pekin :) I love all these cute chicks.

you sound like me :) i just keep on getting broody hens so i keep on puting eggs under them. My husband goes "more baby chicks" lol little does he know i chose the hens for them to be broody lol :)

I don't know what the others think but if it was my flock i would leave them in but just spend time with them i.e walking around etc they will soon enough calm down. :)
Hi i have bought in chicks before - i am now breeding my own. But it took them around 2 weeks to stop running away from me and the other chicks. Also i have aracannas as well and no matter what i do (even hatching them from eggs) They still hate to be handled. With my other girls i can walk in...
