Oh yay! I was quite worried and can't wait for it to go away. I chased the little spot all around the pan this morning, then the next one I cracked had quite a few:sick that one didn't even make it in the pan. Thanks for the answers they are very much appreciated:)
My hens have just started laying. I've cracked open a few eggs and they have little red bloodish spots inside,some have just one but one had a few is this normal? Could it be because they may have been fertlized? We just got rid of our roo last week because we can't have them in the city.

I will probabbly blow out the first egg too. I may even hang it from a string and hang it from my reirview mirror like some people do with baby shoes:)

I've got 4 BR and one welsummer who are all 5 months old almost exactly, and two of my BR are squatting!! I was so excited when they did it now it's just a wating game but I have been checkng all their favorite spots in case thy don't go in the nesting box. Heres a few pics of my girls:)

Ours was 3 months old and it started out fairly quiet but then got louder we had to sell him but here's a pic when he was younger, I think from early on their tails are higher.
