That could be fun too, since I'm also looking for some fun pet chickens to help me around the garden. :) If you'll have some of these available next spring I might just give you a shout when I'm ready. :) Thanks!
I didn't really have the patience to read the entire thread to see if there were any answers to my question so I'll ask directly here now.
Does any one here know of a/some "Silver Ameraucana" breeder/breeders that I could contact for buying some eggs/chicks/adults from? I've been searching...
Hi there, I used to have a paper that talked about growing your own feeds for your chickens for winter, but I've managed to lose it. I thought about googleing it, then I decided to first check here with you guys and see what your opinion is on which grains and what the birds need the most for...
I really don't like coons either! I lost sixteen chickens in one night to a couple of those buggers a few years back. I've never had much love for them since.
Love the design on this coop! Looks good, practical and cheap (without looking cheap). Thank you for sharing this with us. Now, to show this to my dh and hint for a similar design, lol.
I'm sure glad the fireworks are banned too. That's what started the closest fire near us. I sure hope you won't have to be evactuated at any time. The fire hazard is so bad this year, I think the whole state is thinking about preparation even there are no current fires in there location...
Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear your right in the middle of all that! I sure hope you and your animals and everyone else involved will be ok. I'll be praying for you, your critters and everone else there. We've had a couple of pretty bad fires here too. So far they've all been moving away from...
Ok, I know this is off subject but but don't have much time to write, so here it goes. Does anyone know of a breeder or person with chickens between Miles City Montana and eastern North Dakota who would be willing to sell my mother some pet/layer/pest control chickens? I don't think breeds are...
The Rocky Mountain Chickenstock sounds like so much fun, I really wish I could go! It's so close too. I'll have to miss it this year because we will be in the middle of house rennovations (sp).
Sounds very good and easy. I'll give it a try. Thanks HudokFarm!
This looks like a good recipe too. If there are that many variations it sounds like I'll have to just try them all until I find the one I like best! Can't wait until next enchilada night!
Sounds like your husbands mom really knew what she was doing. Maybe someone from BYC knows how to do this. If not I'm sure theres a recipe some where that can be shared.
Ok, I know this two threads but I couldn't help but look at the recipe I have for tomatoe paste and see that I don't have a food mill to run the tomatoes through. Will a meat grinder work? I don't think I have an attachment for the meat grinder small enough to filter out the seeds. Is that a...
