I'm going too say both are hens.

each bird molts at different times. Most of mine molt during late july through august. but I have had some do it in dead of winter. So it's normal that she is molting right now.

looks like hen to me.

with that many hens it would be okay to have 2 roos. If their like most roos there usually always a little fighting going on. If you free range they'll will find a area that they like to hang out and leave each other alone for the most part. At least that what some of mine do.

I did have a bobwhite and valley successfully mate and hatch out a couple chicks. Sorry no pic's. it was before fancy phones and didn't have a digital camera at the time.

I don't think it's a modern game need some better pic's it's a he/she I have a bird that is same as far as it has the features of hen except the tail. Never crows or trys to mate. and the other roos leave it alone.:confused:
