I believe I bought Barnevelder chicks (2) along with 6 other different breeds. They are all close to 8 weeks old and every one of them has little combs popping up but my Barnevelders are completely flat. There are no combs like the teeth of a comb popping up. Is this normal? Thank you all Donna

I have another question. Do I need to give dewormer to my chicks? I heard that some one else with chicks does, and wondering if that is to be expected?

The chick was relentlessly attacking, even after, toys and cleaning. So, I returned it and got another one from the same batch, and all our girls are so happy and growing.
