1 year old chicken lethargic, runny poop

Hi! She made it through the night but hasn't laid an egg today yet. I let her outside for a little while today and she scratched around so that was good. I saw her eat and drink and her poops look more normal so that's good. I know how fast chickens can go down hill... Hoping for the best...

1 year old chicken lethargic, runny poop

Hello! One of my girls isn’t acting normal. Head tucked, runny poop drinking lots of water. I don’t think she’s layed in a couple of days. We had a hawk attack a couple days ago and i have been keeping them in the run when they usually free range. She didn’t get attacked (my poor silkie baby...

    Chicken swollen face

She hasn’t layed in a couple days but i think that’s just because she isn’t feeling well. Just since she isn’t walking around like normal. She’s 10 months. Both sides of her face are the same. Poor baby 😫 i can get another photo

    Chicken swollen face

Hi there! One of my girls has a swollen face and is walking around really slowly. Not sure what’s going on here 😩 can swollen face be from being egg bound? Definitely not acting like her normal self.

    Wry neck?

I weighed her and went with the dosage by weight. I gave her a pea sized 2-3 times a day (this was the goat selenium) then gave the b complex 1 x a day mixed with water and sometimes just added to her food too.

    Integrating Flocks

Hello! I have 4 "older girls" that are about 7 months old (1 blue americauna, 1 white leghorn (queen bee), 1 redstar and 1 welsummer) and 5 17-week-old girls. 1 Polish, 1 silkie, 1 RIR, 1 Buff Orpington and 1 welsummer. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't have gotten any bantums but here we are...

    Silkie and Hawks

We have 5 chickens that we got and we have one silkie. I am very worried about her getting picked up by a hawk as her sisters are bigger and more nimble. Are there any tips to keep them safe while free ranging or is it best to re-home her? All my girls are free range at this point and I REALLY...

    Wry neck?

This happened to my girl too. Kept her inside and gave her b complex and selenium & vitamin E (from tractor supply for goats) she got better in about a month! I think the b complex helps more if it is neurological
