This silkie hatched 12hrs ago. It can't walk. It just scoots around. It keeps both legs together with one tucked up under it. Doesn't look like splay leg or slipped tendon. Any idea what to do?
Hi, my 12 week old frizzle polish chicken was attacked by a dog while free ranging yesterday. (Neighbors) and by attack I mean the dog held the chicken to the ground and licked it.
Fast forward realizing the chicken was alive I brought the baby inside .
For the night I separated it, gave it...
So I just wanted to start off by saying I’m heart broken . My husband and I built what we thought was the safest coop ever … long story short the chicks 5-6 week old got out of the chicken coop and then the fence. Though we’ve had sightings there’s 2 babies out there somewhere … what do we do to...
I just want to say, I’ve got chicks in incubated and store bought chicks in the same brooder. One by one the 3 I’ve bought from rural king have died, with the same exact conditions in the brooder as the ones I’ve hatched . I’m pissed

After finishing unzipping the one I realized I...

I almost threw this egg out as I saw no movement day 17… it would be my only survivor of the poorly shipped Sumatra eggs . Anyone have experience with this where the egg survives… these were expensive expensive eggs. Of note the Polish beside it are fine.
