These 2 seem to be connected at the hip, lol. They hate being separated and yell at the top of their lungs until they're able to touch again. I put them outside for quite a while yesterday, as it was in the high 70's, and they made themselves at home. I have 5 hens that free range and they just...
I let them outside during the day, when I can be out with them. And, they actually get out of the tote as they please and run around the room. I'm looking to find an outdoor, enclosed run and coop with lots of running room. I'd never seen runner ducks before I got these. They act like little...
These are my ducks now...compared to when i got them less than a month ago. The feeder next to them is the same siz as the waterer in the bottom photo. Left is Pip and right is Duckie. Pip is slightly smaller and has been making occasional quacking sounds.
What about grass clippings? My mower jas a bagger and I usually just dump it on the compost pile, but could I give so e of it to my ducks? My chickens free range so they help themselves to it. My ducks are quite ready to be pur out on their own.
I'm trying to find the best thing to use on the coop floor. I use pine shavings for my chickens, as well as for my ducks that are still inside. But, wondering if anyone has any better ideas. 😊 thanks
I'm still trying to sell out 3 Bantam roosters. It's hard to get really good pics to show how pretty they are. I'm asking $25 per bird and they have to be picked up. I just don't have a use for them and feel they deserve a place where they can run free and be with girls their own size.
I'll wave back, but I don't actually live in town, lol. I live on down Y towards Bonne Terre.
I think we might be getting rain and possible thunder storm, but nothing severe. I'm starting to feel like I live in a rain forest with a swamp. :frow
I loved reading this and seeing all of the changes. It is all so awesome. Maybe you should get into duck enclosure design. I just got 2 babies and this has really inspired me. Thanks so much for sharing.:frow
I don't know all of the details, but my brothers duck did the same thing. It has lived a couple of years, so far. I hope you get better answers. Good luck.
