    Wilbraham is a right to farm but they are strict! No roosters and only 11 chickens allowed if less than 5 acres. Must have food water shelter of course. Good luck😁

    I am with you I live in Wilbraham. You can have 11 chickens if you have less than 5 acres but no roosters. My wife and I had to get rid of our rooster because of a complaining neighbor. Very sad.     Good day We have horses and use blue kote. One of our chickens is badly hurt and we cleaned and used cream but someone said use blu so they don’t get pecked ? But it has alcohol mostly in it and will burn her? Thanks she is white too not that looking good is more important than feeling good...

    How big of a coop/run for 70 birds?

    Agreed. My chicks are free range but the actual coop and home needs to be to spec for the birds. They go in every night. So Each bird needs 1-4 sq feet I believe. Don’t cram them they’ll be unhappy and unhealthy. Good luck for that many chickens you’ll need a very large house!

    Hello Sad day here had to give up our Rooster because of complaining neighbor. Hatched him from an egg! Not sure I did the right thing but it was the law. Miss him already and his girls do too. Anyone else experienc e this?

    Chickens won't stop squawking loudly for no apparent reason

    Some are just chatty. Agreed. We had a chick that was a rooster. You’ll know when he cockadoodledoo. Other than that they talk. Loudly. Laying talk. Warning talk. Making sure her friends are close. Etc. good luck. Neighbors can be pests!
