Does anyone have instructions on how to crochet a cover for the nurture right 360 Incubator. They sell on etsy for $30 but I'd really like to make my own.
I hatched 6 eggs and I got 2 splash males, 1 blue male, 1 chocolate female and 2 of these. One is black with a gold neck and the other is brown with a gold neck and I believe they are both males as well. What can I breed the chocolate female to?
I gave them the recover 911 I found at Walmart, its a water additive and she seems to be doing fine today. Sorry for the late response. Thank you for answering
The bedding flooded and one of the chicks now sounds gurgling when it's breathing and is sneezing. Is there anything I can do for her? She is one week old
I have a black cochin roo, a silver duckwing oegb hen, a black oegb hen, and a red pyle oegb. I had one pullet hatch that is white with black splashes. Who would be the mom?
I drive an 07 nissan xterra truck. It's gonna be hard. I was thinking about taking them out all together and putting them in an egg carton stuffed with something. I realize now it would be a good idea to keep the incubator warm too.
I hatch at work, but I will be going home for a few days for Christmas. Instead of going to work to check on the incubator, I'd rather take the whole thing home and finish this hatch. How should I go about it? I only live 20 mins from work, and I'm sure the eggs won't get too cold on the way...
I bought a digital Bluetooth hydrometer and thermometer. The Temps are pretty accurate, compared to my old thermometer I wad using. I was looking again and I think it's got a fan, but the temp is supposed to be set differently for forced air vs. Still air.
I have this incubator and it's worked ok, I'm getting some nice eggs and I just want to make sure I do everything right. Temps are different for still air vs forced air and I have no idea which kind this is. I don't think it has a fan, but I'll double check. Here are the pics.
