I got this chicken about 30 min ago from some people who needed a home asap (she was all alone). Now that i’m home with her and gave her a bath because she had poo on her feathers, I can see that her lower vent is extra large and round. She is also pooping clear-ish liquid. Any advice?
I have two 10.5 week old silkies, one of them started crowing, and the other I'm really hoping is a girl, but Is starting to look like a rooster. Any guesses? I know it's too early to know but I really want to have some incites!!

I totally understand the frustration. Not cool that someone would lie about their chicken's quality. On the bright side, my messed-up chickens tend to be the nicest.🤷♀️
It happens to the best of us. When I was first starting with buying from non-hatcheries, I purchased 2-4 dozen Araucana eggs to hatch for quite the price. Unfortunately, only one hatched (probably my fault because I was a beginner), and I'm pretty sure she's an Ameracauna anyway.😂 At least she's...
I'm not super familiar with silkies, but I've owned them. The pure breeds in my experience usually don't have those kinds of wing feathers, so I'm guessing it's mixed. I really just wanted to tell you that the chick is super cute!!:love
