I've had silkies. Definitely not silkies. They look similar to ayams but I'm for sure they're not. Rural king doesn't sell those.

Mostly white , maybe a few black specs. The white in leghorns is pretty dominant. I had a mix of rhode island over leghorn..some of those girls are straight white without even the black specs. Strong genes..

As someone who has had both..make sure it can be mobile.lol. And by that I mean make sure its not a pain to move. Hubby made one that was really heavy. I prefer my coop. I used the mobile for chicks and meat birds once I had my bigger coop. I'm big on lock up at night..your in NC with the same...
