This hen has an odd "perfect mohawk" bald spot on the back of her neck. It doesn't even look like feathers will grow back. It's been there about two weeks. There is one rooster, the white frizzle/silky in the photo, and there are two other hens. I haven't seen any of them pecking each other...

I would like to collect eggs from my own hens for incubation. How long can I keep them until incubating and how do I store them until it's time? Thank you in advance!

Can anyone tell me why my eggs look like the pictures attached? I feed them layer feed and keep a supply of oyster shell separate from the feed. They get a little scratch each day. They are fed leftover greens, apples, etc. as a treat as well - in moderation. Thank you!
