They've had leg mites for more than a year now I think. They all sleep together. If some of them haven't gotten leg mites yet, is it not safe to say they won't get leg mites?

If I have a flock of 90 hens and 50 or so are displaying signs of leg mites, do I have to treat all 90 hens for leg mites, or can I get away with only treating the 50 who are displaying signs of leg mites?

Second question: Is it likely the hens got leg mites from wild birds? Sparrows often land in the pens to peck at the ground and drink the water on occasion. Do they bring leg and feather mites? If I purge the hens of their leg mites, will sparrows just bring mites back?

Ohhhhhhh so their breeds just aren't super accurate to breed standard? We got a bunch of hens from them, of the 248 we have, 4 are roosters (so far). What's the generally accepted margin of error for sexing. Is 4/248 normal amount of roosters to get when u’ve ordered hens?

I'm pretty sure at this point you're right. We got him from Hoover's and from the images of the other breeds they sell at the hatchery, he's shaping up to be a pretty convincing partridge plymouth.
