What might have caused this? GRAPHIC processed cockerel picture heavy

I have heard that in the gonads of both hens and roosters that 1 is a neutral gonadotropin meaning it has the ability to change into the opposite sex organ. You may have heard of hens spontaneously turning into roosters or vice versa. It is rare but it can happen. I am not sure if this could be...

Rainy weather - sick hens- coccidiosis poop?

We've had a pretty wet winter here in Georgia and I recently I've been losing a few chickens. I've been trying to troubleshoot what the issue may be and I've begun to think it could be coccidiosis. Can anyone look at this picture and tell me if it looks like coccidiosis in the hen droppings...

Hen acting sick- droopy comb-lethargy- green poop.

She seems to be wasting away. I do see her pecking at the ground but her crop is never full. Also her comb is hanging down today and she doesn't look so good at all.

    Is this fowl pox?

I am currently going through fowl pox too. Several of my pullets got bubbly eyes , especially the ones that had pox legions near the eye. One of my hens died suddenly like the one you described. I think this is due to wet pox which has a higher casualty rate. They can get both wet and dry...

    Mystery illness - please help

I have seen a very small amount of blood on her leg. Less than 1 drop. I also moved her leg into several positions and she didn't seem to feel any pain which makes me fear paralysis. Her toes do, however, grip around my finger when pressed, which may offer counter proof of neurological disease...

    Mystery illness - please help

New chicken tender here. My chickens were all born around the beginning of June 2020. Up until the last 30 days my 20 chickens have had an impeccable bill of health. Recently 6 of the flock has been stricken with fowl pox. I immediately separated them. About 2-3 weeks after separation I found...

Aloof chickens raised with 2 Guineas

well I mean they are aloof as in they don't care to be near people. And like the guinea fowl they are flighty or skittish...moreso than regular chills.
