    It's taken my girl almost 2 years to be able to use her big girl roost... usually she is on a log we cut in half and wrap a blanket around so she is stable, but close to the ground so she can't get hurt... she'll learn, just takes lots of love, time and patience!!!!

    With my experience, you just have to make sure everything is in the same exact spot. She is learning already where everything is, so don't change a thing. Also, if you need a bigger area for her, make sure to expand it slowly so she can accommodate to it. I have 5 house chickens and the key is...

    How are they doing? Also with blindness the key is to leave everything in the same exact spot every time you clean or anything. They actually will learn to find their water and food, it just takes a lot of time and patience!!!
