Fostering some chickens, anybody mind helping with their sexes?

So I think I think one listed as roo 4 in the first set of pics is a roo. Here are some more pics: Am I right on him/her?

Fostering some chickens, anybody mind helping with their sexes?

Thanks for the feedback and taking a look. I honestly can't believe I got that many right. On that note, what did I miss on the grey/black one that says it is a pullet? Also, I was unsure on Roo 4 honestly but both of you say it is a rooster. What gives that one away?

Fostering some chickens, anybody mind helping with their sexes?

I have a friend who is going through a divorce and I have agreed to foster a mom hen and her 9 chicks while the friend's house is being cleaned out for sale. They are 3 months old and they are mixed breeds all over, but I definitely see what I think is some silkie in them. I have them offered up...

How did/do you guys tighten hardware cloth?

Right. As you can see from my photo, the ground is definitely not level so I guess I should expect some dags based on your assessment. That's a good idea. I'll look and see if I can find any additional pics or ideas online. That's actually a relief to read. I plan on adding wood over the...

How did/do you guys tighten hardware cloth?

I'm currently building my run and have posts set and am running my hardware cloth now but I am finding it difficult to tighten after setting the initial post with hardware cloth and screws. I have provided a pic below. I am curious to see how other people have tightened it because even pulling...

    Help With Run Implementation

So when you say use two as you mentioned are you talking about sandwiching the seam between two boards and screwing them together?

    Help With Run Implementation

That's good. The wood I have bought is treated and the hardware cloth is galvanized. My wood posts are spaced 7 feet apart though and I haven't seen any dog eared fence pickets that length. Is there a way to connect them?

    Help With Run Implementation

Looks great. Is that treated wood? I've been reading how it can cause corrosion with fencing but I bought galvanized hardware cloth so I'm hoping there's not an issue using it with the treated wood and footboards I bought.

    Transforming Metal Shed Into Coop?

So are you saying insulate the roof to prevent dripping or the roof and siding would all need to be insulated because of condensation. Would you be against using the unit as a coop overall or do you think it can be done with the proper modifications?

    Transforming Metal Shed Into Coop?

My father in law has an old metal shed that's still in pretty good condition but he is upgrading to something bigger. It is 10'x8' and he has offered it to me for free. It would be placed inside the fenced run I'm currently building, which is 20'×11' and I would elevate this so it isn't lying...

    Help With Run Implementation

Oops! I forget netting and hardware cloth are two different things in the chickening world and I use them interchangeably. Yes, I'll be using it on top as well as for fencing.

    Help With Run Implementation

Obviously, I want to put up a wire fence to keep chickens in on my lot. The best suited area for it just happens to be on an incline and I am not quite sure how to build it given the terrain. It isn't going to be extremely big, 20' x 11' with the top of the fence being 6' and I am going to...

    Hello from Arkansas!

Hey everybody. I go by AC and I currently live in Arkansas. I am not entirely new to chickens but I am definitely new to some aspects of chickens. My father-in-law had some but his wife made him get rid of them because the rooster's made too much noise. So I have helped him in that regard...
