I am 5’1”. I rescued him and the hen in October. I have been very nice to him, but the hen died three weeks ago. So I got him stufffed toys which he likes. I was putting down his dish, turned to open his pet door and he bit my leg and then rose up, growling. He has a huge shed and a big enough...
Thank you for this advice. An animal rights woman told me to use a big rake and that he would be mean only for six weeks because of spring. Well, six weeks is too long.
Thank you. He is much bigger than the photo here. He rose up almost to my face and bit the back of my leg. I never expected to have a rooster. I am only 5’1”.
Well, it may only take place in Brooklyn. It is so awful, but the animal cruelty laws do not cover it,Yet. As said, freedom of religion should not include cruelty. They are very sick, sick people.
I found a wonderful rescue home for Kevin after July. I sure will miss him. He seems to like me and trust me more. He let me pet him after I sang to him today.:love
I know. A quick death is one thing, but they leave them in crates for a week without food or water first. So the rescue angels took watermelon and pushed it through the cages so they could have something. We are trying to get this banned. Freedom of religion should not allow cruelty.
Kaporos is the name of the ritual where these idiots swing a live chicken over their heads so their sins will go into the chicken. Can they get any crazier!
There is a Kaporos rescue group in Brooklyn. They try to save as many as they can from that horrid ritual that happens in October. I do not know why the humane laws do not cover this awful thing.
You are right. We all meant well, but I do not know if it would have been better for her to go quickly at a young age, because I think she might have had discomfort with this heart condition.
