Cream Legbar are supposed to be self sexing at hatch but I'm having a hard time telling these apart. Hatched yesterday 5/25/13. Sometimes they all look like roos to me and sometimes they all look like pullets. Help. Any Ideas...

I just hatched some eggs that I got from ebay. Out of 18 eggs only 3 of them didn't grow. 7 hatched but it looks like at least 6 of the ones that didn't hatch made it to lockdown and then died. Has anyone ever had something similar happen. I'm not sure what I did wrong at lockdown.

I have my overpriced fertile eggs from ebay. I have my hovobator with a fan, and I have 3 digital thermometers all with different temperatures and no way to know if any of them are actually reading the correct temperature. I could buy another thermometer but that would just be throwing more...
