I had a hot coffee with 3 hazelnut creamers at my local diner this morning. I went for their amazing Saturday-only chicken and waffles, but the coffee was unexpectedly good!
It’s always so sad to see an innocent animal go for reasons that can be treated! I’m so happy for you that she’s doing well, and I hope she stays happy and healthy for a long time.
Here’s a dead butterfly that flew into my cute chick’s little run a few days ago. They squabbled and were very...
Beautiful!
I’ve read that they eat their body weight in mosquitos every day! And that their natural life span in the wild is around 1 year. They’re really wonderful arachnid friends.
I’ve never seen a male black widow before, I wonder if they keep to the shadows? The females are ruthless...
I have no hints myself (yet) but my grandmother got these intriguing books for me at the library today, how sweet of her :love And if I read something particularly interesting or useful I will post it in this thread for sure :thumbsup

Both of these chicks are from Atwood’s.
I have a possible idea about what breed Boisdarc might be (D’uccle?)
but I really don’t seem to have a clue about Mimosa.. I was thinking Faverolles, but she only has 4 toes!
Finally got some chickens, and therefore some feed bags! I even made a Pinterest just for some upcycling inspiration.
The only problem is I can barely sew :idunno
I’ve been stalking this thread for a little bit because it seems to be one of the only active resources to see/hear about Mosaic chickens.
So after reading through and (barely) debating, I’ve decided I would love to have Mosaics of my own!... but I prefer the ones with more color (browns) on...
