Hi all! Thought I'd post a bit of an update of little star. She is doing great and is now taller than my 14hh pony! She has improved a lot with lunging and we have been working on some good leading exercises.

Yeah, I have seen some videos on that! But it seems like they are always in a round pen so I wasn’t sure if that would work for us.

And I want to make sure she respects my space before I take her around “scary” things and places

Thank you so much! Well I actually rode in a western saddle the first time that I rode sugar. But I just cantered her around a round pen. That’s pretty much the only time I have ridden western.

Yesterday morning star and I worked on a little bit of lunging. I have a video but can’t upload it here, sorry. But she did very well!

Yeah, she has! It’s funny. I didn’t even realize she had grown so much until I compared those two pics! My fuzzy baby is growing up.
