Would you say it's a sure thing or try to give it more time?

    2 Polish chicks gender

For comparison, this is the WCB roo nearly 3 weeks ago, so at 9 weeks old. I don't have more recent pics because he was injured by the other chickens, and looks like crap at the moment. He still doesn't have any red comb though

Update: 12 weeks old The white crested blue is def a roo, but now I'm having some panic about the silver laced. She's getting a few pointy looking saddle feathers, but only on one side.... 🤔 Started to get some comb and wattles, but not a lot of wattles compared to the WCB roo. What do we think...

    What gender?

    Nope, no signs of roo.

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

#2 8 week old update Chef - mottled d'Uccle I swear this is the slowest feathering bird in the history of feathers. 😑😜 We still have a bald spot on the front of the neck, but I'm still leaning pullet, I think.

Starlight Green egger 5 weeks old - this is a roo, isn't it? :(

7 and a half weeks old. We've named him Colonel Sanders. 😆 Every day I tell him to make good choices and not crow.

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

And just for funsies bc I'm confident on pullet... #3 Little Wing - light Brahma bantam at 6 weeks.

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

#2 Chef - mottled d'Uccle - 6 weeks old update I've searched a bunch of d'Uccle posts here, and I think the straight comb means pullet also. This bird cracks me up, she always looks like she's asking for the manager.... Sorry, that's me. 😂

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

Updated #1 frizzle pics - 7 weeks old I'm thinking/hoping pullet? She still needs a name

    Assorted bantam breeds

These guys were all in a rural King bin that claimed "Assorted Cochin bantams" with another LF breed (red something but I'm not sure as I was focusing on the bantams). They are quite clearly not all Cochins, any ideas? Are any of these possibly d'Uccles? Sorry about the quality of the pics, I...

    Frizzle? Color? BCM x frizzle?

That is a cute chick! Love the colors! I'm no expert on breed mixes, but just for another comparison, this was my frizzle at around a week old.

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

#2 Chef - formally bantam Cochin, now possibly d'Uccle. Such a curious and funny little thing.

    2 Polish chicks gender

I know it's probably too early for Polish, but I have zero experience with them and I'm getting some rooster vibes from the white crested blue. They are almost 6 weeks old. I think the silver laced looks like a pullet so far. They're both pretty weird. 😂

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

You know, I actually started looking at the "weird" cheeks yesterday and started wondering if I misidentified. I will cry so many happy tears if it's a d'Uccle pullet!! 😍😭

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

Well darn! 😭😭😭 I was so so excited to get a frizzle. I'll cross my fingers for a very quiet crow.

    Bantam Cochin & Brahma gender?

These were from the assorted bantam bins at TSC and RK. I'm pretty sure I've ID'd the breeds correctly. First one is the oldest at 6 weeks, bantam Cochin frizzle. I think pullet on this one, really hope the tiny wattles aren't a bad sign. #2 bantam mottled Cochin. This one is just over 5 weeks...

    10 week old BLRW

Found my thread from years ago. Unfortunately blue was a very late bloomer, but did turn out to be a roo. This was him at 7 months. Still no crowing here. Pointy hackles and saddle feathers, but so round! And then this was at a year. Ended up rehoming with his brother.
