    Hi everyone. This morning my white Sussex hen stayed in the nest box. I went to see her and try get the eggs out but she then started squawking very loudly. Is this a sign that she is broody or she I’ll? Any help would be much appreciated.

    They are about 8 months old and have a full crop in the morning. I have to pull out grass and give it to them as they do not have any in their run.

    I have put Epsom salt in their water as I read on another forum that It can help wh n the crop is full. They have access to lots of grit and water. They are kept on wood chip so don’t eat grass that often they only eat it when I pull it out of the ground for them. All of their crops this morning...

    I don’t think there was anything dodgy on the grass clippings definitely no rat poison. Can a full crop be deadly?

    This is the coop from last night ( I cleaned it out yesterday) the poo you can see I am pretty sure is not from the black hen because when I went to put them away last night she was standing on the side where there is no poo. Do you reckon she is constipated?

    Personally I think it’s diaherra because they ate the rhodedendrum and since it’s toxic they are trying to get it out of its system but I’m no expert so it’s only a guess
