Hi everyone. This morning my white Sussex hen stayed in the nest box. I went to see her and try get the eggs out but she then started squawking very loudly. Is this a sign that she is broody or she I’ll? Any help would be much appreciated.

They are about 8 months old and have a full crop in the morning. I have to pull out grass and give it to them as they do not have any in their run.

I have put Epsom salt in their water as I read on another forum that It can help wh n the crop is full. They have access to lots of grit and water. I don’t think there was anything dodgy on the grass clippings definitely no rat poison. Can a full crop be deadly?

This is the coop from last night ( I cleaned it out yesterday) the poo you can see I am pretty sure is not from the black hen because when I went to put them away last night she was standing on the side where there is no poo. Do you reckon she is constipated?

These are the other two they are acting slow but are not as bad as the Cheryl ( the black one) do they look as if their crop is full?

Personally I think it’s diaherra because they ate the rhodedendrum and since it’s toxic they are trying to get it out of its system but I’m no expert so it’s only a guess
