No, unfortunately I don’t have a scale. But i should probably get one and she definitely hasn’t gotten 5% of her body weight in water, all I can get her to take is a couple drops of water through a syringe every couple hours. Other then that she won’t open her mouth. But she also can’t see...
If I dip her beak in water, she sometimes will drink some and sometimes not. It’s not much at all, if any. I’ve tried putting her beak in some mash, but she won’t open her mouth.
On the skin that was peeled
Forward, I can see where his eyes used to be. And at what point do you think I will have to start tube feeding her? She can’t see. She can’t drink water or eat if I put it in front of her
I’m wondering if I should just put her down. According to her body weight, I could give her .1mg of aspirin. But I don’t know of any other painkillers that I can give her. She’s breathing really heavy, and she’s too weak to walk. She’ll take a few steps then fall down. Should I keep trying? Or...
I will definitely look for both of those products. And trim off the skin? It doesn’t look very dead, still mushy and the end of it is attached to her head. How much of it should I trim? And thank you very much for the reply!

Hello everyone! Here are some updated pictures. He isn’t doing too bad, he is holding his head up and not as wobbly. He’s been drinking a little bit of water from a syringe every few hours. I’m going to try to feed him again, the mashed up food and water.
Yes one side of the cage is warmed by the heat lamp, and the other side is colder. I had him under the heat lamp, but I noticed he was breathing quickly so I gave him water and moved him to the edge of where the heat lamp reaches. He hasn’t walked, just kind of adjusted him self and let his head...
I did use some Scissors and carefully cut some feathers away from the wound, and use a wet qtip to get as much dirt out as I could. I just flushed it with saline and put some polysporn on it.
No, he won’t take any food or open his mouth at all. He will only drink water if I squirt a little on his beak. And he is pretty used to being handled, but I’m trying not to keep handling him that much because me touching his wounds still is probably stressful.
